Gracie - 4 Months

Gracie Lou is such a little sweetheart. She is getting so big. She's 11lbs 1oz now. She's the second biggest baby now (starting out she was the smallest). She can hold her head up when she's on her tummy, she's probably the strongest baby right now. She coos and really tries to carry on a conversation. She has a beautiful smile. She's pretty spunky and has no problem letting you know when she's not happy. She's wearing 0-3 month clothes and size 1 diapers.
Look at that double chin!

I sure love to cuddle with my sweet Gracie Lou!

Happy 4 Months Gracie! We love you!

Brant - 4 Months

Brant is so funny. He still likes to scream at you when you're not moving fast enough, or his Clifford paci is out and he wants you to put it back in this mouth, or when he just wants to be held. But overall, he's a much happier baby these days. He smiles a lot and he has the biggest smile. He is cooing and would love to talk to you if he could. He's holding his head up well and is getting a lot stronger everyday. He also loves tummy time and is sleeping well during the night. Waking only to eat and then he goes right back to sleep. Brant gets PT to help with his range of motion and muscle strength. He has the biggest eyes and loves to make funny faces. He's about 10 pounds and wears 0-3 month clothes and size 1 diapers.

He's such an angel when he's sleeping. lol
This is his 'ooops, she caught me awake, when I should be asleep face'.

Mom & Son matching North Texas shirts. This sure aggravates his dad, which makes it all the more fun!

I sure do love my baby boy!

See, I told you, he still likes to scream.

Pure cuteness

Such a happy boy.

All his funny faces make me smile!
Happy 4 Months Brant! We love you!!

Tessa - 4 Months

Tessa is getting so big. She is such a sweet baby. She is having a lot of trouble taking a bottle. She's going to speech therapy 4 days a week for intense therapy before we go back home. She spits up, a lot! If you move her during a feeding, she will spit up. Having a bowel movement is also a problem for her sometimes. She's 11 pounds now. She's wearing 0-3 clothes and size 1 diapers. She has the biggest smile and loves to stick her tongue out. She is cooing and getting better at holding her head up.
This is Tessa before her swallow study.
She looks so good in my favorite color, red.

She's such a happy girl.

Mia - 4 months

Mia is getting bigger and bigger each day. She's now up to 10 pounds. She's the happiest baby and does a good job of entertaining herself. She has a sweet grin. She is holding her head up pretty good. She enjoys tummy time. She can lift her head (when on her tummy) and move it from side to side. She's discovered that she has arms and hands. She'll hold them straight out in front of her and kick her legs like she's riding a bike. She will spit up if you move her a lot during her feeding. She loves her Mr. Froggie paci. Mia gets speech therapy twice a week to work on her feeding issues. She's wearing 0-3 month clothing & size 1 diapers.
Mia is in the middle being fed by her g-tube.

Her serious face.

Brady's New Role

I've been so worried about how Brady is going to react to being a big brother for a while now. For all his life, the whole world has revolved around him. At home, he's had all our attention. This whole year of 2014 has been a huge adjustment for him. I was on bed rest at home in January, not able to do anything with him, and I was put in the hospital on Jan 31st and have lived in Dallas ever since. Me being away has been tough on Brady (and me). Brady is such a special little boy and I love him with all my heart. He will always be my baby boy no matter how old he is or how many siblings he has. I hope Brady will handle the transition from only child to big brother well. When he's in Dallas visiting, he does well with the babies. I hope in a few years they can all play and be the best of friends. I'm so blessed to be the mother of six wonderful little blessings.

I love this pic...I love seeing my little boys together. I hope they always have a special bond.

Bringing Gracie Home

Last Thursday we brought our sweet Gracie Lou home from the hospital. Gracie is the 4th baby out of the hospital. She has done so well at home. Just like her sisters, she also has a g-tube to help with her feedings. She loves to be on her tummy, loves her caterpillar paci, and being talked to. She has the sweetest smile. I'm so thankful to have her join the family!
The day Gracie came home from Baylor.

Steven had to work the day Gracie came home, so Papa Berney helped me bring her home.

Welcome home Gracie Lou!!!! We love you so much!

The Quints - 4 months!

I cannot believe Mia, Tessa, Brant, Gracie, & Rayleigh are 4 months old already!!! I look at them and it's still so hard to believe that they are all ours. They are such sweet little blessings. They are getting so big, they are all between 9 pounds to almost 11 pounds! (Tessa is the biggest and Brant is the smallest baby now.) Mia, Tessa, Brant, & Gracie are all home from the hospital! Now we're just waiting on Rayleigh to come home.

I was so nervous about handling the girl's g-tubes, but it has worked out and I'm now comfortable  with it. The g-tubes run continuously throughout the night so the girls never wake up hungry. They sleep all night. Brant has gotten on a good sleep schedule and he wakes up at 2am and 6am to eat. They love to be on their tummy during tummy time and most of the time they'll sleep on their tummy (during the day - while supervised). The first few days of having all of them at home was chaotic but we've gotten on a schedule and that has made a world of difference.

All of the babies are smiling now. They love to look at the television. They are very interactive and try to talk to you while you talk to them. We do tummy time every day and they love to fall asleep on their tummy. They all have strong legs and like to kick. They can focus their eyes on you when you're standing close and will follow you with their eyes. They are holding their heads up and love to look around, they are very curious. The girls spit up, a lot! Brant spits up some but not as much as the girls. They're now wearing 0-3 month clothes and size 1 diapers.

Fun Quint Facts:
We're going through about 32 diapers a day between the 4 babies that are home and they go through almost 2 cans of formula a day. We do at least one load of baby laundry a day.

Prayer Request:
Please continue to keep all our babies in your prayers. Please pray especially for Rayleigh - she will have her g-tube surgery Tuesday at 2:30pm. All our girls are having feeding issues, so please pray specifically that they'll start eating by bottle soon. Pray for Brady, his whole word has changed so much the past 7 months and is about to get crazier when we all come home. Pray that it won't be too much longer before Rayleigh comes home and we all can go back to "our" home together as a family.

Here's some pics of the babies at 4 months:

Quints 3 Month Pics

I'm so behind on blogging, so I'm trying to get caught up because I want to be able to look back and remember this fun/hectic/crazy time in our lives. I blogged about Brady each month, so I have to do it for Mia, Tessa, Brant, Gracie, and Rayleigh too. Here's their 3 month pics.
