Rayleigh - 5 months

Our baby girl Rayleigh is such a little sweetheart. She is so easy going. She's quiet and will look around and observe what's going on. She loves to be held but doesn't get held as much as some of the others because she's so good about laying nice and quietly. She's got a sweet smile and the prettiest eye lashes. She weighs 12lb 2oz and is 23in long. Her head circumference is 15in. She likes to sleep on her side and is excellent about sleeping through the night. She has long black hair, her eyes are dark, and she has the darkest complexion of all my kids. She coos, follows objects with her eyes, and is holding her head up. She loves to suck her thumb. Her nickname is Rayleigh Bug...everyone calls her that.

I love how she's sleeping in this pic.
Happy 5 Months Rayleigh!!! We love you!!

Gracie - 5 months

Gracie is our little diva. If Gracie ain't happy, ain't nobody gonna be happy! haha... She is loud and proud of it! Out of all the babies, I think Gracie will be the first to talk because she is so verbal now. She coos all the time; she is so funny. And even though she is a little diva, she's still oh so sweet. She loves to be held and loves her pacifier. At night, she cries if her paci falls out, which means you don't get much sleep. She has a sweet smile and her hair is light brown and it sticks up. She the second biggest baby weighing in at 12lb 7.5oz and is 21in long. Her head circumference is 15in. She's so big, she's got a double chin. She absolutely loves her cousin Makenna. She can roll over, hold herself up, and brings her hands to midline. I sure love my little diva!

Happy 5 Months Gracie!! We love you!!!

Brant - 5 months

My baby boy is such a little ham. He's really starting to get a funny personality. He's growing but he's still the second to the smallest baby; only Mia is smaller than him. He weighs 11lb 10oz and is 24.5in long. His head circumference is 15in. Brant is such a funny kid. He is loud when he cries, thankfully he's not crying as much, and he has the funniest facial expressions. He coos and really tries to talk. He can turn over and is getting so much stronger. He squeals when he gets excited. He sleeps really well; one night he slept until 5am. He loves to be held, I'm hoping he's going to be a mama's boy.

Happy 5 Months Brant!!! We love you!!!

Tessa - 5 months

Tessa is our biggest baby. She weighs 12lbs 10.5oz and is 24.5in long. Her head circumference is 16in. Tessa is a happy baby. She always smiles and she usually sticks her tongue out when she smiles.  She's loves to be held. Her hair is blond and her eyes are blue. She has a deep voice. She's holding herself up, cooing, and she rolled over. She's doing pretty good at taking her bottle (she usually takes 1oz from her bottle). Tessa is a little sweetheart and so much fun.

Happy 5 Months Tessa!! We love you!!!

Mia - 5 months

Mia is such a sweet little girl. She's still my smallest baby but she's growing. She weighs 11lbs 7.5oz and is 23.5 inches long and her head circumference is 15in. She's been having a lots of issues keeping her food down. The doctor changed her formula today and prescribed another medicine to try to help her keep from vomiting. I sure hope it works. Her hair is brown and she's getting more of it. She's got such a sweet smile. She's an easy going baby. She can bring her hands to midline, she's holding her head up, cooing, and she even rolled over once (from belly to back).

Happy 5 Months Mia!!! We love you!!

Splash Pad Flop

Yesterday, I decided I needed to take Brady out and do something fun, just the two of us. I decided the Splash Pad would be lots of fun and probably wouldn't be too crowded now that school is back in session. Boy was I wrong. We got to the Splash Pad and Brady wanted nothing to do with it. I couldn't even get him to look up. He held onto me and buried his head in my shoulder. I did get to catch up with one of my cousins who was there with her two kids. After I finished chit-chatting we left and headed to Chick-fil-A. Brady loved his chicken and was such a big boy while we ate lunch. Then he played for a while on the playground. He did get stuck in the tunnel on the play set and I had to climb up and get him. It was rather funny and I hope no one had to witness me climbing in the children's play area. Oh well, I'm sure it won't be the last time one of my kids climb up something and needs me to come to their rescue. I enjoyed our little adventure today and look forward to our next outing. I'm so blessed to have friends that are willing to come watch the babies so Brady and I can get out every-once-in-a-while.

This is where he got stuck and mama had to come to his rescue.
He was a very tired little boy at the end of the day.

The Quints Baby Shower

This past Sunday, various churches in our community worked together to give us a baby shower. It was a wonderful shower, all the decorations were cute, and we loved visiting with so many of our friends and family. We are so blessed to have so many people love us and we greatly appreciate everyone's generosity. Here's a few pics from the shower.
Several local businesses donated the cakes and cupcakes. They were all so cute!

The beautiful centerpiece.

The theme was little ducks and I loved it.

Of course Brady had to lend a hand with cleanup. I'm so thankful Ms. Melissa watched him during the shower so that Steven and I could visit with everyone. He kept her very busy.

Thank you again to everyone who helped make our shower a wonderful success. Everything was beautiful and we had a wonderful time!
