Sweet Memories

Early this morning my Uncle Robbie passed away. He lost his battle with cancer. It's so hard to see someone you love suffer. I'm so thankful he's finally at peace. Robbie might be gone but I will forever remember all the fun times we shared.

11 Months with Brady

Brady- 11 months
Well, since I’m a few days late on posting..we’re less than a month until Brady’s first birthday. It honestly doesn’t seem possible for him to already be 11 months old.

Here’s what Brady has been up to this past month:
*He weighs 22lbs.
*He’s a good eater. I’m trying to transition him from baby food to table food.
*He still take 3-4 bottles a day, but that’s going to change very soon.
*He is walking! It was a slow process but a couple of days before he turned 11 months old he just took off walking all over the place.
*He can clap & roll his hands. He loves to play Patty Cake.
*He can say da-da and bye-bye.
*He loves to brush his teeth.
*He can wave (when he wants to).
*He can blow kisses.
*He can climb!
*He bites! He bit me the other day on the shoulder and I about went down to my knees.
*He steals cookies. His new nickname is Cookie Monster.
*He hits people in the face (I don’t think he’s trying to be mean, he just gets really excited, but I’m trying to get him to stop as soon as possible).
*He sleeps well most nights.
*He’s been a little under the weather this month with a viral infection, cough, and runny nose.
*He will go to anyone. He’s very social.
*Dressing him is still a challenge, but it’s a little easier than it has been.
*He wears shoes now.
* He has 7 teeth. (3 on bottom & 4 on top)
*He is sleeping well at night. And he’ll take some really long naps sometimes (up to 2-3 hours). You know when he’s tired because he’ll pull on his ears and rub his eyes.
*It’ easy to make him laugh. He’s always happy.
* He wears 12-18 month clothes. When I shop for him I’m buying 18 months clothes.
*He’s wearing a size 3 diaper.
*He loves his bathes.
*He’s still attached to his pacifier.
*He likes for mama to carry him around.
*He still loves to watch Wheel of Fortune.
*He is a very curios/ noisy baby.
*He has the goofiest smile and expressions.
*He’s doing so well riding in the car now.
*His eyes are still blue.
*His hair is curly in the back and is blondish.
*He has no problem at all with letting you know that he’s unhappy. He can throw some major fits.
*He is very impatient! He will through a major fit if you tell him no. And he’s also making the funniest face when you tell him no. He’ll open his mouth real wide like “no you didn’t”.
*He loves to look at himself in the mirror.
*He doesn’t understand the concept of sharing. If a kid has a toy & he wants it then he’s just going to snatch it away. We’re going to have to work on sharing.
*He still doesn’t cuddle until it’s bedtime. I love rocking him to sleep at night.
Here’s Brady this month.
He walks all over the place. He's just so proud of himself.

I can't keep my lips to myself. Just love this kid.

Nana brought him a Valentine's bear.
