Catching Up

So this past weekend the boys and I took a quick trip to Dallas. When I say quick, I mean quick..we were only gone for 24 hours. Brady did so good in the car for our trip. It didn't take long at all to get there. We stayed with my friend, Paula. We ate at our favorite restaurants, shopped a little, and the rest of the time we did some much needed catching up. I hate being so far away from so many of my friends. Distance is really hard on any relationship, especially when everyone is so busy with their day-to-day lives. I hope the older Brady gets the more we'll be able to make quick trips and visit more of my friends that I miss so much.

Paula & Brady

On Wednesday, my mom went to Baylor in Dallas to get a second opinion on her mammogram and showed something suspicious. Thankfully, she got good news. She'll go back to Dallas in January for a check-up to make sure everything still looks the same.

Yesterday, I went back for my post-op check up with my ENT doc. He said my ears looked perfect and my nose is healing well. He had to suck some nasty stuff out of my nose...it was uncomfortable, but not too painful, but it sure did help me breath better. I go back in a week-in-a-half to see if the infection is all gone. My allergies are acting up right now, so I still don't feel 100%, but I'm SO thankful that things are starting to look better.

Brady is into everything these days. He started pulling up last week...and now that's all he wants to do. The only problem is that I'm afraid he's going to bust his head open. He's still pretty wobbly so I have to stay very close at all times to make sure he doesn't take a nose dive into the floor or whatever he's pulling up on. He's also not sleeping well at all. He rarely sleeps all night and it's really starting to wear me out!  I don't know what we've got to do to get him to sleep better but we've got to find a solution quick! Thankfully, Steven took care of Brady last night and let me get a good nights sleep because he has started noticing how bad I need it. He's the best!

I love these football leggings. They are nice to have if the weather gets a little cooler while we're out. You can slip them on and off quickly & easily.

Supporting our Gage #12!!

This is what Brady's hair looked like this morning when he woke up. It's hard to see because his hair is so light, but it's sticking straight up.
Now, I'm watching the Longhorns get their booties kicked by OU. This is awful! Happy Saturday everyone. I sure am happy it's the weekend.
