14 months with Brady

It hard to believe Brady is already 14 1/2 months old. He's still not talking (or what I'd call talking) but he can sure babble and point. He says "huh" a lot. He can fetch. He can point out characters in a book. He can climb on the kitchen table. He can run. He has a mouth full of teeth. He holds the phone up to his ear and acts like he's talking. If he's tired, he'll get his pillow and bring it to me and that's his way of saying, "I'm tired, put me in bed." On most nights, he sleep through the night. He had his first earache this past month. He will shake his head no if he doesn't want something. He's becoming a pretty picky eater. He would rather be barefooted than wear shoes. He loves to be outside and gets very upset when you take him inside. He loves to be read to, I hope he continues to love reading.

May is always a very busy month for us, and it seems that this May has flown by. I only have 2 more weeks of work left and then Brady and I will be able to spend our days together enjoying the warm summer weather. I can't tell you how ready I am to spend lots of quality time with my sweet 14 month old!!!

Last Sunday, it was warm enough for Brady to get in the water. The only bad thing is that he didn't want to stay in the water. He wanted to get out and walk around. I don't think he understands the concept of swimming just yet.

I have enjoyed the past 14 months so much with Brady. Each day he does something new to surprise us or make us laugh. I will admit, there are times when he is frustrated with us, as we are with him, but I think once he's able to talk, that frustration will be eliminated. I can't thank God enough for such a sweet, wonderful, & funny little boy! We're so blessed!!!
