No Mo Chemo for Paula

The day finally arrived.... We finally got to celebrate Paula's completion of chemotherapy for breast cancer!! I knew all along Paula was going to beat this cancer; I just had a feeling that she would be ok, that God would get her through this awful time in her life...and He did!! I'm so glad she's finally finished with the worst part of the treatment, she still has to take a pill for several more years, but that's not too big of a deal (considering everything she's been through).

Yesterday, Paula's family and several of her friends gathered to celebrate her completion of chemo. We called it a No Mo Chemo Party. The weather was perfect so the men could stand outside and talk, the food was delicious, and the fellowship was wonderful. We had a prayer circle, thanking God for bringing Paula through this battle.

What a blessing it is to have such a wonderful friend like Paula. She's so sweet, thoughtful, and she's always there for her friends. She's funny and loves to tell long stories... LOL. She loves to shop and has way too many shoes! She loves to travel and play golf. And now, she's an inspiration to others who may find themselves in a similar situation. She now has a greater appreciation of life, as we all should. I can't thank God enough for saving my sweet friend's life. God is Awesome!!
