Hey y’all! Today is a bittersweet day. Today
is the last day I’ll write a post on this much beloved blog. I started this
blog in 2009. I knew a few people who had a blog and it was a great way to keep
up with them and what they were doing. So, since I had so many long distant
friends and family I decided I’d do the same. The first few years were pretty
boring. There weren’t too many interesting things to post about. As the years
rolled on, the blog became a place for me to write about my heartbreaking miscarriages,
pregnancies, and keeping everyone posted on what the Six Sweet Seals were up
to. There are so many memories recorded here that I never want to forget and
that’s what made my decision to switch to a new host so hard.
See, I need simplicity in my life. As you’re
very aware, six kids keep me extremely busy. I love to blog because I know
there are people who love to see and keep up with our family, but mostly I love
to blog because it’s my journal for our family, unfortunately, I struggle with
having the time to do it all. Blogspot is not easy to use. There have been
times when I’ve wanted to make changes to my blog and couldn’t because it’s
like writing a computer program to do it and I’m not good with computers nor do
I have the time to figure it out. So, I switched. I’m hoping our new site will
be user friendly and reader friendly. My hope is that you can easily navigate
everything Six Sweet Seals with a
push of a button. This blog and all it’s memories will still be here. I hope to
figure out a way to move some of the posts to my new site but for now, if you
want to see something from the past, just come back to this spot.
