Bringing Tessa Home

This past Thursday, Tessa was re-released from the hospital. She was released from Baylor about 4 weeks ago but after a week home she got to where she wouldn't eat and became dehydrated and constipated. I had to take her to Children's ER where she was admitted. After two and a half weeks in Children's NICU she was released. She now has a g-tube to help with her feeding. Tessa is such a sweet and gentle baby. She has a cool cry for a baby (I know that sounds weird but she has a deep voice and she doesn't have that screeching, squalling cry that most babies have). She sleeps all night (she gets fed continuously through the g-tube). She makes lots of snorting sounds when she sleeps. She doesn't take a bottle well, but we're working on it. I love having Tessa home. I can't wait to watch her grow and change into a beautiful young woman. We're going to have so much fun together with her 3 sisters (and the boys too).
I love how happy Brady looks in this picture. This was the day Tessa was released from Baylor.
Brant was happier than he looks to have a sister home.
Brady wanted to be in the middle of all the pics.
Coming home from Children's.
I love her sweet grin.
She loves to stick her tongue out when she smiles.
Our sweet Tessa
