Here's a little something to get our week started off right. Because this weekend was all about love here's the ultimate love passage.
Love is patient,
Love is kind,
It does not envy,
It does not boast,
It is not proud,
It is not rude,
It is not self-seeking,
It is not easily angered,
It keeps no record of wrongs.
Love does not delight in evil
but rejoices with the truth.
It always protects, always trusts,
always hopes, always perseveres.
Love never fails.

Our Valentines Fun:
So our weekend was pretty low-key. We didn't do anything special but I don't feel like you have to do big elaborate things to show your love for each other. We stayed home and enjoyed being together as a family. Yesterday, my mom called after church and asked if Steven and I wanted to go to the movies. It was going to be during the kids nap time so it worked out perfectly. My sisters and brother-in-law all went to the same movie; we watched The Choice and it was a tear jerker. I'm a sucker for sappy love stories, I cry every time.

So Friday, we took the girls to Dallas for their appointment with the GI specialist. As usual, they haven't gained as much weight as the doctor would like, but overall, they are doing great. Dr. R told me he wants 2016 to be our year, so once it starts warming up and cold/flu season is over, we're going to start really pushing the girls to eat. It may mean they don't gain as much weight as we'd like, but the goal is to eat and hopefully by the end of the year, most, if not all the girls will be eating without much help from the g-tube. So I ask you all to really pray hard for the girls to start eating and drinking like they should.
We did get some amazing news from Dr. R... Gracie is getting her g-tube taken out at the end of April!!!! She hasn't used it since July. She's my little rockstar and I can't wait for her to be tube free!!!
A Walk Down Memory Lane:
We're officially on the birthday countdown. One month from today, Brady will turn 4 years old!!!
This popped up on my newsfeed on Facebook today.. My Brady Boo was such a cubby little guy. I can't believe in one month he will be four years old. |
And here's a little throwback picture for you... Two years ago my tummy was full of babies and Brady was a baby (he was the age that the quints are now).
I was 1 month and 3 days away from delivering the quints in this picture. Look how little Brady Boo was!!! |
xoxo,
Michelle
