Mia, Tessa, Brant, Gracie, & Rayleigh are 7 months old!!! I can't believe we're already to this point. I've got to start getting serious about our big birthday party in March! I've got a theme in mind, but I'm not making my mind up completely until after Christmas is over.
Anyways, the quints are seven month old now and they are doing very well. All of the girls are starting to take their bottles much better, sometimes, some of them finish all their bottle and don't have to be fed through the g-tube. They've made a lot of progress over the past month. Brant is taking 3-4oz from the bottle and we thicken it with cereal now to keep him from getting so hungry so fast. The girls eat every 4 hours and I'm trying to get Brant back on a 3-4 hour schedule. They aren't spitting up as much anymore, thank the Lord. A big milestone this month is that we started baby food! They are still working on the concept of eating from a spoon, but they seem to love the food. They're wearing 6 month clothes now and size 2 diapers. They are rolling all over the place. They all love to be held, they are so rotten. They like to sleep on their belly. When they're sleeping on their back they all put their hands behind their head. They smile all the time and like to squeal and coo. They all are entertaining, funny, and very sweet babies.
A couple of weeks ago, all 5 babies got sick with a cold. We are still dealing with the sniffles. It's not too bad, but I sure hope it doesn't get any worse. We don't get the babies out except for doctors appointments and I try to discourage people who are sick from coming over to visit. If one baby gets really sick with something like RSV or the flu, then they all will probably get it, which would be disastrous for us. I'm planning on doing a post about RSV and how to prevent spreading illnesses in the near future.
